Optimal conditions for life sciences

Medical Park Hannover was established in 1987 to provide young companies working in the life science sector with excellent conditions for successful commercial development. The location is right in the centre of a dynamically growing business and research zone. Numerous companies involved in the medical and technology sectors are located right next door: such as Hannover Medical School (MHH), the ITEM Fraunhofer Institute, as well as the International Neuroscience Institute (INI). The School of Veterinary Medicine Hannover and the University of Hannover are only a few minutes away by car or tram. This creates a fertile environment for countless opportunities to exchange experience and co-operate at an international level.

 

High class focus of activities

Some main areas of activity have crystallised out in Medical Park Hannover in recent years: particularly work involved in transplants, implants, regenerative medicine, diagnostics and training. The Niedersachsen Centre for Biomedical Technology, implant research and development being set up here as an inter-university initiative also imbues the Medical Park with a unique international asset.
